Anti-Trophoblast Cell Membrane (TA) Antibody ELISA Kit

Short Description:

This product is used for the qualitative in vitro detection of anti-trophoblast cell membrane antibodies in human serum. Trophoblast cells are key components of the placenta, playing a critical role in early embryo implantation, placental formation, and maintaining normal maternal-fetal immune tolerance.

Anti-trophoblast cell membrane antibodies are autoantibodies that target antigens on the surface of trophoblast cells. When these antibodies appear in the body, they may attack trophoblast cells, damage their structure and function, interfere with the normal implantation of embryos, and disrupt the immune balance between mother and fetus. This can lead to implantation failure, early pregnancy loss, or other reproductive disorders, becoming a potential cause of autoimmune infertility.

Clinically, this detection is applicable as an auxiliary diagnostic tool for autoimmune infertility. It helps identify whether immune damage to trophoblast cells is involved in the pathogenesis of infertility, providing important reference information for clinicians to clarify the causes of infertility and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

Principle

This kit detects trophoblast cell membrane antibodies (TA-Ab) in human serum samples based on the indirect method, with purified trophoblast cell membranes used as the coating antigen.

The testing process starts with adding the serum sample to reaction wells pre-coated with the antigen, followed by incubation. If TA-Ab is present in the sample, it will specifically bind to the coated trophoblast cell membrane antigens in the wells, forming stable antigen-antibody complexes.

After removing unbound components through washing to ensure detection accuracy, enzyme conjugates are added to the wells. A second incubation allows these enzyme conjugates to bind to the existing antigen-antibody complexes. When TMB substrate solution is introduced, the enzyme in the complex catalyzes a reaction with TMB, producing a visible color change. Finally, a microplate reader measures the absorbance (A value), which is used to determine the level of TA-Ab in the sample.
