Enterovirus 71(EV71) IgM Rapid Test Kit

Enterovirus 71(EV71) IgM Rapid Test Kit is a qualitative membrane strip based immunoassay for the detection of EV71 IgM antibodies in human serum and venous whole blood. The test cassette consists of 1) a burgundy-colored conjugate pad containing EV71 monoclonal antibody-EV71 antigen complex. Conjugated with Colloid gold; 2)a nitrocellulose membrane strip containing a test line (T line) and a control line(C line).The T line is pre-coated with an anti-human IgM antibody (μ-chain). and the C-line is pre-coated with a EV71 polyclonal antibody.

When specimens are processed and added to the sample well, the specimen is absorbed into the device by the capillary action. If EV71 IgM present in the specimen, it will bind to theEV71 monoclonal antibody-EV71 antigen complex conjugates. The immunocomplex is then reacted with the pre-coated reagent on the T line, showing that the EV71 IgM antibody is positive. To serve as a procedural control, a colored line will always appear at the control line region indicating that proper volume of specimen has been added and membrane wicking has occurred.
